Appraisal Services: There are many reasons for needing a written formal appraisal including for Insurance, Estate, Estate Planning, Charitable Contributions and Valuation purposes. We provide appraisals for individuals, banks, attorneys, estate executors, institutions and museums requiring a valuation of personal property objects. Every Daniel Buck appraisal will be the most complete appraisal available, completing all due diligence and following the United Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices as required by all major appraisal institutes.

Daniel Buck Appraisals also offers its clients a Professional Opinion of Value. This is a verbal estimate of value, usually stated as a range, that is not based on research and is not stated in writing. It is for informational use only and cannot be used in place of a formal written appraisal for tax or legal purposes. This is to assist our clients in determining if their items should be placed on a written appraisal.

Appraisal Fees: Daniel Buck Appraisals appraisal fees are competitive with the industry standards and based on a flat hourly or daily rate per specialist, and never based as a percentage of the appraised value.

Working with Daniel Buck Appraisals: You can have us come to your home, or you can bring your items to us for an evaluation and we will help guide you in making your decision regarding the sale of your items. We are always very interested in helping you make the right choices with the sale of your items, whether it is a single item or an entire estate. You will find that our commission rates, which are on a sliding scale, are among the most competitive in the industry. Special commission rates can be established for not-for-profit organizations such as museums or complete estates.

As with every item in that is handled by Daniel Buck Appraisals sale, we will advertise and promote your items to the market to which it, or they are best suited. We advertise in the major Antique and Auction trade journals, as well as in local and other specialized newspapers to ensure the proper coverage and to reach the most appropriate buyers for your items. By also having our own web Gallery, along with over 30-years experience, we have come to know the appropriate buyers for most items.

Buying from the Daniel Buck Appraisals Online Gallery : You will find that buying from the Daniel Buck Appraisals Online Gallery is as uncomplicated as you will find anywhere. For the novice buyer, simply contact us by telephone or e-mail with your request to purchase, we will forward to you an invoice for the item(s) that you are interested in, send a check or Money Order for the full amount and your order is complete. All purchases are subject to Florida 6.5% state sales tax unless the purchaser holds a valid resale number, and a certificate of same is on file with Daniel Buck Appraisals. Resale certificates from other states are accepted in Florida if presented with a copy of your permit or a business card. All packaging and shipping is then handled by the UPS Store, with payment for same being made directly to the UPS Store.

If you become a successful bidder, payment is due at the end of each sale, or upon receipt of an invoice. Acceptable forms of payment are cash or certified, cashier's or good check, payable in U.S. dollars. We recommend that you read and familiarize yourself with the Terms and Conditions of Sale in the front of every Daniel Buck Appraisals catalog.
